Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. She was born on June 13, 1962. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). After that, she joined the Bratpack band and made appearances on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is an actor as well as an author. She started her film career beginning in the early 1980s, with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she was rewarded with a great deal of applause. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. The film was made for less than $1,000,000 however it made over 50 million dollars. Additionally, she began participating in various television shows such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. In April 1980, the show started airing. The show was designed for teenagers. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she was a part of. Recent appearances of Sheedy are Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie about a hero where Sheedy appears as a guest. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 due to her work. She also was honored with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
